While ecology can be defined as the scientific analysis and study of interactions among organisms and their environment, in terms of philosophical questions about the Being as such and the human existence in special, in the given case ecology has to be understood as an artistic study. The human being is the only creature, which is able to design its environment creatively, resulting truly incredible achievements of civilization. Our current world, however, is suffering from this ability, which is a blessing and a curse alike, destroying potentially not only the living environment, but also the human species itself.
